Brown Penny Loaf sandwich with ham and cheese

Triple Decker with Ham, Cheddar and Relish with Green pepper wheels

These are perfect for snacks and picnics!

Ingredients
  • Penny Loaf Seeded Pack
  • 2 big slices Cooked Irish Ham
  • 60 g Grated cheddar
  • 40g (approx 3 tbsp)Cream cheese
  • 60 g Ballymaloe Relish
Method
  • Slice each loaf horizontally into quarters. Spread the first slice of loaf with a big tsp of Relish and top a big tsp of grated cheese, the next with a tbsp of cream cheese and a few strips of ham and the third with another tsp of Relish and a bit more grated cheddar.
  • Next layer the slices back into a mini-loaf making sure to top with the lovely dome of the loaf. Slice the cherry in half and attach to the base layer of your Decker with half a cocktail stick to for wheels!

Tip:  Use Basil Pesto instead of Relish for an Italian inspired snack

1st April 1989, O’Donohues started to manufacture and supply O’Donohues Bread with a total of 3 staff: Cathal O’Donohue, his wife Frances and 1 other baker. Today, the bakery is located in a 26,000 sq.ft manufacturing facility in Kilcruttin Centre and employs a hardworking dedicated team of 31 staff.
