Water, WHEAT Flour (Raising Agents: Sodium Bicarbonate, Acid Calcium Phosphate, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Flour Treatment Agent: Alpha-Amylase, Ascorbic Acid), Rapeseed Oil, Baking Powder (Raising Agents: Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate), Sugar, Salt.

The White One

From Frozen: Penny Loaves are FULLY BAKED before they are blast frozen to lock in freshness Simply *thaw and enjoy and consume within 3 days, like fresh bread!

*Thaw at room temperature for 2.5 hours

Tip: once defrosted, for a freshly baked bread experience, flash in the oven or air fryer, or  pop it on top of the toaster for 3-4 minutes for that warm bread aroma.

Alternatively, follow these instructions to heat from frozen:

  • Oven: Place in a pre-headed oven at 180°C for 13 minutes
  • Air Fryer: Air Fry for 10-12 min.

Storage Instructions: Store in freezer at -18°C

Once defrosted, cover and store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 days, like fresh bread!

Hardworking dedicated team

1st April 1989, O’Donohues started to manufacture and supply O’Donohues Bread with a total of 3 staff: Cathal O’Donohue, his wife Frances and 1 other baker. Today, the bakery is located in a 26,000 sq.ft manufacturing facility in Kilcruttin Centre and employs a hardworking dedicated team of 31 staff.
