Sour Cream and Smoked salmon Penny Canapes

Delicious as a starter if having friends around or a super tasty lunch!

Ingredients

Buttermilk Soda Penny Loaf pack
200g smoked salmon
145ml soured cream
Small bunch of fresh dill
Handful of chive flowers
Freshly ground black pepper

Method
  • Slice the Penny Loaf vertically into 5 slices.
  • Cut the smoked salmon into 3 cm square.
  • To serve, spread a layer of soured cream onto each loaf slice.
  • Place a slice of salmon on top of the soured cream and garnish each with a small sprig of dill and chive flowers.

1st April 1989, O’Donohues started to manufacture and supply O’Donohues Bread with a total of 3 staff: Cathal O’Donohue, his wife Frances and 1 other baker. Today, the bakery is located in a 26,000 sq.ft manufacturing facility in Kilcruttin Centre and employs a hardworking dedicated team of 31 staff.
